On Friday 27 November 2009 Dr Brian Hancock was awarded an Honorary
Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for
his work with the fistula ladies in many African countries over the past
10 years.
Dr Hancock has spent a cumulative total of two and a half years in
Africa since his retirement from his hospital in Manchester in 2000.
This includes 18 visits to our Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital.
